Here’s how it works. The truSculpt flex technology uses Cutera’s Multi-Directional Stimulation (MDS) technology that delivers three treatment options by replicating intensified crunch, squat and twisting actions. First, the Prep Mode creates a twisting motion to warm up, stretch the muscles and slowly build a tolerance to contractions. Next, the Tone Mode contracts the muscles, holds it to the point of exhaustion, and then relaxes to increase strength and enhance endurance. Lastly, Sculpt Mode stimulates fast, deep, sequential contractions of the muscles to develop new muscle fibers and increase basal metabolic rate (BMR) for building muscle mass.
The result is increased definition and improved tone for the areas of your body that need help the most, such as the abdomen, obliques,or thighs. So basically, it’s like hitting the gym hard for a few hours with every treatment.
Most people will need either 4 or 6 treatments spaced 48 hours apart, depending on your activity level. After a treatment, you may feel sore the next day as if you had an intense workout.
